An Easter Dress Vision Realized

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful Easter. We went to the 7:00 a.m. service this morning and it was wonderful. We are so thankful for our church. 

Two years ago, for Fiona's first Easter, I purchased what I believe to be one of the cutest Easter dresses ever made.

A little over one year ago, right after I had found out we were having another girl, I was at TJ Maxx and found the exact same Easter dress in a size 4T. And thus the Easter Dress Vision of 2013 was born. 

I bought the dress and looked forward to the day when my two little girls would wear matching Easter dresses for the first time. 

Today was that day. I'm not sure we'll ever be able to top this in terms of cuteness.

Finally got a good picture of Harper's two bottom teeth. They came in about 2 days apart, 3 weeks ago. Teething barely phased her, she is such a happy baby!

Our Nanny the Cake Boss

So not sure if you know this but our nanny has amazing cake making / decorating talents. Seriously, think Cake Boss level good. I went to a baby shower a few weekends ago for a woman in our small group and I was tasked with bringing the cupcakes. I put my management skills to use and outsourced / delegated the job to Kali. I hired her to make the cupcakes. And they were amazing. Everything you see in these pictures was handmade. She sculpted each one of those teddy bears and pacifiers herself. Guess who is making every cake / cupcake for us for the rest of our lives? That's right, Kali is.

So we got new phones in August and I hadn't yet hooked up my new phone to the computer to download pictures until tonight. Here are many, many, many long overdue pictures of Fiona and Harper:

Old Friends & New Friends

So we went up to Gurnee yesterday to see my best friend Melissa and her two boys. Jameson is 3 months older than Fiona and Brecken is 12 days older than Harper. We made the mistake of waiting until just before  naptime to do the photo shoot. The ones of Brecken and Harper are adorable but Fiona and Jameson look pretty exhausted.
